Logger Helper is a Chrome extension that provides copy-paste templates, date and work-day calculations, a consumption calculator, a text comparison tool, personal notes, and lists of shortcut links — all running directly in the browser. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data when you use it.
Logger Helper stores the following locally, using the browser's built-in
localStorage (Web Storage) API:
The Update Info page lets you load a shared JSON file to refresh these lists. The file is read from your own computer, or pasted in by you, and is processed entirely inside the browser tab. It is never uploaded anywhere.
fetch, XMLHttpRequest, or similar network call.None. Logger Helper's manifest declares no permissions at all — no host permissions, no optional permissions. It runs no content scripts, does not read the content of the web pages you visit, and has no access to your browsing history.
The two features that might look as though they need a permission do not. Copy buttons use the
browser's standard asynchronous Clipboard API, which is available to any page you have clicked
on and requires no declared permission. Your notes and lists are saved with the browser's own
localStorage, which likewise needs no permission.
All data described above lives only in your local browser profile. Uninstalling the extension, or clearing your browser's site/extension data for Logger Helper, permanently deletes it. We have no copy of it anywhere, so there is nothing further for us to delete on request.
Logger Helper is an internal productivity tool intended for adult, professional use and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect data from children.
